Some of the most notable changes out of over 75improvements completed in the last two months are detailed below. We appreciate that you're using MagicForm.AI, and you can expect more improvements again next month.
Widget Updates
- You asked, and we delivered – we added a “copy and save” option so your website visitors can easily retain the information they learn from the MagicForm.AI agent.
- You asked, and we delivered – the widget now has voice synthesis capability to read the responses aloud. This is great for website visitors with low vision.
- You asked, and we delivered – videos can play within the widget if you add a video link to your knowledge pairs.
- You asked, and we delivered – for those who have upgraded their plan to include human handoff, your website visitors now see a notification indicating the conversation change from AI agent to Human and includes the capability to reset the conversation when a human agent closes the chat.
- You asked, and we delivered – we added customization options for hyperlinks: font size, weight, and color.
- You asked, and we delivered – there’s now an option for a profile image.
- You asked, and we delivered – in mobile view, there are more display options.
- You asked, and we delivered – for those who have upgraded their plan, we added interactive elements to support some basic HTML to display a choose list, date picker, or true/false within the chat for structured answers.
Dashboard Updates
We have further refined the search capabilities and spent major time upgrading the dashboard underlying dependencies to improve supportability with React and Chakra.
- There are dashboard additions that correspond to the widget improvements highlighted above: changeConversationOnHumanEnd setting, link styling options, profile picture upload, and download transcript and copy message button settings.
- You asked, and we delivered – we hid the pricing plans and support option on third party to prevent brand leakage.
- You can now adjust the bot typing duration.
- We added deep linking to allow you to directly access a specific management view (i.e., text or look and feel).
Backend Updates
- As mentioned in the Dashboard updates, we improved the conversation search capabilities.
- For those with an upgraded plan, there’s added support for literal function responses that skip the LLM to support legal or regulated language.
Facebook Messenger update! Unfortunately, we had to pause our release to work through the Facebook app publishing issues related to permissions and user onboarding. This feature is working for development, but requires approval from FB to be used outside of development mode. We have several beta customers standing by and hoping this will be done very soon.
